Swiss Broccoli Soup

June 16. 1992


2 cans 10 1/2oz each, chicken broth
1 small bag or 2 small boxes frozen, chopped broccoli
2 c. swiss cheese, grated
1 t. seasoned salt
1/4 t. ground nutmeg
salt / pepper
1/2 c. flour
4 c.evaporated milk
1 c. water

In a dutch oven, combine broth,broccoli and seasonings. Stir over medium heat until broccoli thaws. Combine flour and water and stir into broccoli. Stir and cook until thickened and bubbly. DO NOT BOIL.
 Add cheese and milk, stirring constantly for 2 minutes. Serves 12
