Ribbon Stew

May 15. 1994


1 lb. round steak
3 T. olive oil
1 T. flour
salt/pepper
1 15 oz. can chili beans
1 can beef bouillon
1 c. canned tomatoes
1 can whole mushrooms
4 c. cooked egg noodles


Cut steak into 3" ribbons, 1/4" thick. Kitchen shears work best. Saute in olive oil until just the surface meat is seared. Add flour, salt and pepper, stirring until steak strips are coated. Add remaining ingredients, except noodles. Heat thru and serve over noodles.  Serves 4
