Pecan Rum Frosting

May


1 1/2 sticks oleo, softened
3 c. powdered sugar, sifted
2 T. rum extract
1 t. vanilla
dash salt
1 c, pecans, chopped

Cream oleo until fluffy. Beat in sugar. Add rum extract, vanilla and salt. Beat until creamy. Stir in pecans. If needed, add a few drops of milk.
Makes 3 cups

I use this when a cake is needed and that someone doesn't like chocolate.

When baking cookies, allow the cookie sheet to cool before adding more dough. Hot cookie sheets let the dough spread out and the cookies don't turn out good.
