Blueberry Muffin Bread

August 4. 1992


2 9" foil pie tins
1 small box blueberry muffin mix
3 wooden squeeze type clothespins
oleo

Lightly grease the foil pans. Prepare mix according to directions. Pour batter in one pan, cover with the other pan, inverted, and secure with clothespins. Place over grill over low coals. Cook 15 minutes on each side, rotating pans occasionally. Cool 15 minutes. Remove lid and cur into wedges. Serve with oleo. Serves 6.


Today was our last summer picnic and we chose Watson Park so we could walk with the babies on the yellow brick road. Trai tried to feed his bread to the wooden scarecrow.

This recipe should find its way to every campsite.

No need to throw out unused egg whites. Put them in a tightly sealed container and freeze them. When you need to make a meringue, thaw them..1 egg white= 1 fluid ounce...8 egg whites = 1 cup.
